Thrive’s vision is to see every church within our local area with a thriving youth ministry.
To see our vision become a reality, we realise we need to help churches with both their youth work and their children’s work. Thrive offers support to local churches to be more fruitful in reaching out to children and young people and seeing them come to faith in Christ. We want to encourage leaders in their discipleship of the next generation, and we offer practical advice, training and skills as well as encouragement, nurturing and inspiration.
Our vision is split into four categories:
Thrive offers individual, regular mentoring to key youth & children’s leaders in churches to act as a sounding board and to help them grow in their leadership, and see their ministries thrive.
Thrive visits local churches to inspire whole congregations around the essential need for youth & children’s work and to help explore what God is calling them to do.
Thrive hosts various events and weekend trips across the year to gather children or young people together with their leaders, to inspire them and to help them realise there are more Christian young people locally than they might realise!
Thrive wants to help churches raise up more leaders by running events, conferences, and retreats as well as specific training programmes for Christian teenagers in leadership and worship.
