Essential Training for Leaders, book here

by Thursday 21st September

Thrive is hosting a one-off evening training event for both those that already run Messy Church groups and also for anyone who might be considering running one in the future. Fiona Stutton, Thrive’s Children’s Ministry Adviser, will be leading the evening. Fiona has many years’ experience with children’s ministry and with Messy Church events, and is currently supporting several Messy Church projects across the local area.

Our session will have some teaching input as well as plenty of opportunities for groups to share stories and experiences that will be sure to inspire and give ideas for you to take back to use within your groups. The more people you can bring, the more you will get from this as there will also be times to chat in your teams. So please do encourage your team to join you for the evening.

Be inspired:

  • By other Messy Church stories

It’s always good to be encouraged and inspired by what others are doing and pick up some fresh ideas that could be really useful to you.  Plus, if you have something that really works for you, it’s great to be able to share your experiences with others, so do come prepared.

  • For the future of your own Messy Church

For the future of your own Messy Church – Have you ever wondered about the potential of your Messy Church and what it would look like to take it to the next level?  What would you like to see God do for your families?  What is God asking of you and your team?

  • To reach more families

To reach more families – If this something you would value, our session will share ways as to how to effectively reach out to more families in your community.

  • With fresh creative ways to celebrate

With fresh creative ways to celebrate – We will look at ways to engage all ages during the worship celebration and explore creative ways to share a message.

We would love you to come our training session, however, this works best if you come as a team as there will be opportunities to discuss in your groups and also chances to mix with others and share stories to bring back to your teams.
