In March, we had a great evening gathering supporters together to celebrate Thrive’s fifth anniversary. It was a chance to thank God together for all that has happened over the years, as well as a chance to hear stories from different people about how Thrive has helped them.

Over 50 people gathered together at St Paul’s Church in Leamington Spa to praise God for his provision for Thrive and to hear about the impact Thrive is having on the local area.

The evening had a mix of videos, testimonies, interviews and worship, not to mention some fun as Fiona Stutton, our Children’s Ministry Adviser, gave us all a brief puppet tutorial. It was great seeing so many people enjoy taking their first steps into being a puppet master!

Founder of Thrive, Andy Castle, said,”It was amazing to gather together with people from across Thrive’s network: supporters, donors, parents of young people, young leaders and church leaders. As we stand at the end of five years, I find it remarkable to look back and see all that has happened and what has grown over the last few years. And I’m even more excited about what God has in store for the future. There is so much more to be done if we are to see every church in our area with a thriving youth ministry!”

To celebrate, we create a leaflet, which highlights the main areas of development over the last five years. If you are a supporter, you should receive one of these in the post soon. If not, you can always download a digital copy.

We will also be posting links to the videos in the coming weeks so you can join in with our celebrations.

A special thank you goes to our great youth band of Thea, Peter and Hannah for leading us in worship, and also to Ann McCabe, Jamie Moir, Chris Goble and Peter Powers for their contributions to the evening and for how positively they each spoke about the work of Thrive Youth Ministries.
