On Sunday 2nd April, 19 people ran the 10km Regency Run in Leamington Spa as part of Team Thrive. All wearing funky Thrive running shirts, together they raised around £3,500 towards ongoing costs of Thrive Youth Ministries.

It was a great day for a race around the golf course and streets of Leamington. The team was a mixture of experienced distance runners and first-timers. With relief, the whole team managed to cross the finish line some time later.
Thrive’s founder, Andy Castle, took part in the run alongside wife, Caroline, and daughter, Hannah.
“I ran round the course with my 15 year old daughter and we kept each other going and, dare I say, almost enjoyed it! I think our highlight has to be the final sprint finish though. Sprinting will always be my preference to endurance running! And just for the record, I let her win!!” Andy told us.
We are very grateful to each of the runners for their willingness to support Thrive in this way and it was wonderful to see the regular flow of Thrive shirts around the course. Together they managed to raise a significant amount of money for Thrive.
It’s not too late to support the fundraiser. If you would like to support the runners please visit our givey page and donate online.
