We are delighted to announce that Fiona Stutton has joined Thrive this week! Fiona has 17 years’ experience in children’s ministry, most recently at Christ Church in Radlett where she was Children’s and Families’ Worker.
Andy said: ‘Fiona will be a really great asset to the team and we’re looking forward to working with her. This appointment is key to the developing ministry of Thrive as, often, churches struggle with their children’s ministry, with many young people leaving the Church before they reach their teens.’
Fiona has worked in several different types of church, which will be really valuable as she builds relationships with the different local churches in Warwickshire. She has also been involved with One Way Puppet Ministry, who share the good news of Christ to children through using puppets.
Thrive has secured funding for at least the first year of Fiona’s work, and we hope to be able to extend her work into the future. Please continue to support us financially through setting up a standing order, or making a one-off donation.
We’re so thankful that God has enabled this appointment and believe it is a vital step in helping the long-term health of churches in the area. Read more about why this appointment is so important to churches in Warwickshire, and join us in welcoming Fiona to the team!
Please pray for:
- Fiona as she starts working for Thrive this week. Pray that she settles into the area and her new home quickly.
- Strong relationships with churches to develop as Fiona seeks to help them grow and sustain their children’s ministry.
- More children to come to know Christ, and to become life-long disciples of Him.
