To celebrate Thrive being five years old, we are gathering a team together to take part in the 10km Regency Run in Leamington Spa.
The Regency Run is an annual 10km, which happens around Leamington Spa.
So far, there are ten runners who have all agreed to sport a Thrive running top and raise sponsorship for the run. Included in this brave team is our director, Andy Castle.
Andy told us, “I was talked into doing this by my wife, Caroline, who is also running! I’m not used to running at all. My only experience really has been as a sprinter as a teenager. I am certainly more used to running a race where you can see the finish line right from the start!”
He continued, “I’m not sure how I’ll get on but I am looking forward to promoting Thrive on our shirts as we run and enjoying the team camaraderie. It is also important as we need to raise vital funds to keep Thrive going so we can support more churches with their youth and children’s ministries.”
