We are really excited to be launching our brand new Children’s Work Hub.

Thursday 3rd November 7.45 pm at Christ Church, Leamington.

Perhaps you can imagine what it would be like to be working full time then to come home to cook dinner and find an even busier evening with the family.  Saturday comes and goes and somehow the planning for Sunday’s children’s group gets squeezed into such a busy lifestyle.

Many volunteers find running children’s work in their own church quite isolating and unaware of what other resources there are or the different ways of running children’s groups on a Sunday.  Or other activities for that matter!

Having met with various individuals throughout the area, it soon became apparent that there was a huge need to provide this opportunity for people to meet together for support and we are really thrilled to be introducing the Children’s Work Hub.

Our Children’s Work Hub will provide a place where all those involved in children’s work can meet with other people in similar situations; be encouraged, inspired, enthused and, hopefully, lessen the feeling of isolation, replacing it with a feeling of being supported in their role.

The Hub will encourage leaders to have fellowship with other churches and to build relationships between them.  The evening will include a Bible reflection, provide training, give opportunities to share testimonies of their work and discover what other churches are doing, ask questions for advice, help and ideas for running their groups and pray together.

We want everyone whether employed or volunteers to feel valued, appreciated and equipped ready to take back ideas and make a difference in their church.  Children’s leaders have such a vital role in sharing the Bible, nurturing children and helping them grow and experience Jesus with (between them) hundreds of children.

If your church have people who help disciple and develop children under the age of 11, make sure they know of this new venture.
