Do you have Years 5 and 6 children in your church? Then this is for them!

Children in Years 5 and 6 can often feel too old for their groups, which can lead to lack of engagement in their church setting.

With this is mind we are launching Thrive Six-Five to reach this transitional age group, encouraging them to explore their faith in a way that is relevant to them.

Would love to see children empowered and excited to follow Christ and this is what Thrive Six-Five is all about.  We will start with a game that gives a chance to meet friends from other local churches which will then lead into an inspiring time of worship as we help children to explore what God is saying to them and encourage them to pray for each other.

Who books places for children?

Parents book their own children’s places using our online form.

Do leaders need to book on?

Leaders book their own places using our online form.

Can I turn up on the day?

No – for safeguarding reasons and preparation, Thrive need to know in advance as to who is coming.  However, if there are exceptional circumstances and we have places available on the day, then it could be possible, but this is not guaranteed.

Can parents stay at the event?

No – for safeguarding reasons, we are only having leaders in the building with the children.  If there are exceptional circumstances e.g. your child has additional needs and would really benefit from a parent being there, this can be allowed if arranged with Thrive at least three days before the event.

Can I bring a younger sibling/baby?

Unfortunately for safety reasons we cannot allow younger siblings at the event.

Can young people come along?

Young people in school year 7-13 can come as a ‘Young Leader’ provided that main leader from the church is happy for them to.
